Joe lee was born Jan 13, 1900 in or around Celina Tennessee in Clay county, he was Second Born Son of Elisha Joe ( Joseph) and Nellie Florence Dyer Atkins. He was born in Clay County Tn. He married Nancy Jane Murley in 1925. He was a Farmer by trade . he came to Texas in 1919 along with his other 6 brothers and 2 sisters and settled in tom bean , then moving to Anna. . His Daughter Georgia lee died in 1929 of Kidney Disease. Joe lee is Buried at Cannon Cemetery, Outside of Van Alstyne Texas, Grayson County. Cause of Death was Tuberculosis.
