Elisha Joe Atkins was born in clay county Tennessee in February 14, 1874, Son of Samuel W Atkinson and Sarah Brummett. He married Nellie F. Dyer in August of 1895. He came to Texas in September of 1919. Many of his descendants still reside in Texas. Elisha is my great great great grandfather.
